Hamer’s Hot Ones

Why Choose Hamer’s Hot Ones?

Hamer’s hot ones claim to fame is their pellet is made up of primarily red oak, and they burn very hot. I would put them as one of the most excellent pellets on the east coast.

Two different plants make Hamers- Elkins, and Mt. Hope. The Elkins pellets burn much better than the Mt Hope ones in my stove. They produced about 1/4 the clinkers for me. They are lighter in color as well. It is almost like the Elkins and Mt. Hope pellets are two different brands. It will typically say on the bag where they are produced.

Depending on the stove you use, the clinker issue may not affect you. I burned some of these in a Harman, and it was not issued because the clinker cake just got pushed over the edge of the burn pot every so often.

Review

If you’re new to wood pellets, you might be wondering precisely what the difference is at the full range of pellets. For starters, our pellets are 100% organic and recorded from the USA. They’re comprised of a mixture of hardwoods, or even a mix of hardwoods and softwoods. Based upon your taste we have. As a lot of folks have their feelings, we advise you to try them and determine what works best for you personally. What one person loves another individual could dislike.

Hamer’s Hot Ones premium quality hardwood pellet fuel is produced of the best verified renewable pure Appalachian hardwood sawdust. This causes a pure, thicker, and clean-burning fuel that’s also an environmentally friendly product with exceptionally low emissions and very little ashes.
Clean sawdust in the hearth of the Appalachian Region at Elkins, West Virginia, is compacted into pellets that produce clean, dependable warmth with reduced emissions and a very small pile of ash. Hamer knows how to offer quality pellets consistently. They’re the earliest residential pellet maker from the Eastern United States.
Hamer Pellet Fuel Co. makes pellet gas generated from fresh sawdust, a lot of that stems from their very own timber operations in the core of the Appalachian Region of the USA in West Virginia. Hamer is the earliest residential pellet maker from the Eastern United States and also understands how to give quality pellets consistently.

Conclusion

One big advantage of Hamer’s is it is very little in the way of long pellets. The pellets lengths tend to be less than 1/2″, which is a major advantage for stoves sensitive to long pellets.

I would highly recommend Hamer, but I would try to get ones from the Elkins mill.
