About Eco-Flame Wood pellets

They’re thinking about sending into the northeast and had detected my website on pellets and desired me to examine them. I received the bag of pellets around the center of spring this past year, and it’s eventually gotten cold enough to provide them a fair evaluation. There are a couple of things about those pellets which are different than people folks in the Northeast are all utilized to. The first is They Are softwood pellets
Eventually, I will do a more extensive article on softwood pellets versus hardwood pellets, but let me just say a high-quality softwood pellet can burn as well as any hardwood pellet, and potentially have more BTU’s per pound.
Among the other fascinating things about these pellets is that they are out of Colorado, and they’re sending them to regions in the northeast where prices are high. With pellet prices at almost $300 per ton I’m guessing that their business model may operate transport All of the way into the northeast, when and if pellet Rates drop down below $200 a ton I believe it may be difficult for the folks at confluence energy to compete here in the Northeast.
The other interesting part of their business model is that their wood comes from trees that have been killed by Beatles. Unlike many of the pellet plants in the northeast that rely on production factories waste sawdust; these guys have a wood source that is not dependent on the economy or output production of lumber using industries. ie: They are not buying sawdust at premium prices.
Fuels that conserve our valuable woods and reduces air pollution. Our merchandise might be used for recreational pursuits like camping or patio parties, but can also be an essential survival tool when the power goes down through storms or other emergencies. An Eco-Flame is cheap to run, non-electric and environmentally friendly with renewable sources, thus solving heating issues at a lower price. Manufacture of Eco-Flame
It can be sold in a lot of retailers and bought in bulk there was no comparison. It’s compacted dust. Produced from wood companies that exude dimensional Timber for building and forest trees that were chosen due to many distinct reasons such as danger or health. Eco-Flame wood pellets have been sourced from Lodgepole Pine trees killed by the Mountain Pine Beetle which has invaded a lot of backwoods from Colorado and surrounding states.
Review of Eco Flame
Overview of Eco Flame The title of those pellets is an”Eco-Flame“, and the very first thing that I noticed was that there was very little in the way of penalties in the bag of pallets. I feel that’s worth mentioning since these pellets came to me through UPS, and if you understand anything regarding UPS I could have gotten a bag of sawdust. They’ve no binding agents additional, but their procedure or the essence of the timber results in almost no penalties. As these are softwood pellets that they also have a distinct odor, they essentially smell like walnut timber.
When they burn off I’d say that the odor is a bit sharper than normal wood pellets but no more powerful. It essentially smells like pine burning off. The pellets burned very bright and had very little ashes. Since I didn’t burn lots of them I cannot speak fairly into the clinker problem, however from what I could tell from that which was left from the burnt pot I wouldn’t expect clinkers for a large matter. In my sample this appeared to be was a really fine pellet. If they were sold in my place I’d try out a ton of these without reservation.
Conclusion
As a matter of full disclosure I want to state that confluence energy delivered me a sample to test. Since I didn’t buy them off the shelf I can’t be completely sure the sample I’d is a complete reflection of the typical pellets which confluence energy will create. They sent me a number of the examining statistics and their ashes material ranged from.7% to.3%, I’d indicate that the bag I was nearer to the.3% indicate. It feels like they’ve a fairly consistent supply of timber, so that I would expect the quality to be quite consistent also.

Let me start by saying that buying a consistent brand of pellets in the middle of the country is a crap shoot. Everyone has unbranded pellets and few places carry the same brands (if they have branded pellets at all) year to year.
This is only my second year with a pellet stove so I don’t have the experience of trying a lot of different brands and nothing that I’ve seen in the reviews are available in Kansas. I saw these and read this review while in the store and decided to give them a go.
After a couple of bags I’d have to say that they burn pretty well, 8000 btu I think. There doesn’t seem to be anymore ash than than the first hardwood pellets (Tractor Supply) I bought last year. No clinkers and the burn pot didn’t have any debris stuck in the air holes (unlike Green Supreme pellets…awful). There didn’t seem to be much dust in the bags I’ve used so far but what was there seemed more like very small wood shavings. I may go buy another ton today since nobody restocks after they sell out.
I am extremely unhappy with my purchase of Eco-Flame pellets. I believe them to be of a lower quality product in the industry. A daily occurrence is that the pellets pack into the burn pit and jam up.
I have burned tons of ECO-FLAME pellets without any problems.. Seems to me, how the bags were handled during transport and storage is more important than the name on the bag…Wood Fuel Pellets REALLY do not like moisture. Your pellets must be bone dry to give the best performance. Some Big Box stores stores keep their pellets stacked up outdoors for long periods of time. Be very careful when buying these..
Most pellet stove problems arise because their owners don’t clean them as often as they should.. A dirty fire-box, air-holes plugged up, leads to major problems..A dedicated ash-vac makes operating a pellet stove MUCH easier..
I had an awful time with the pellets in my old stove. The auger kept jamming and all we were doing was creating dust.
They seemed to “pop” apart, with a rounded end and a shattered middle. Unable to return the open bag.. I guess maybe I can use them for camping????
Read a lot of reviews I’m Different pellets this year none of them were very good reviews until I read Echo Flame bought a full pallet try it about and they burn great nice bright Flame produces nice Heat very little Ash didn’t notice many Clunkers got a winner here Plus I live here in Colorado oh I like what we’re doing for the force right now because of the beetle kill using these trees and a great way instead of them burning up in a forest fire I will be buying more
